A group of three long service medals (Bronze-5, Silver-10 and Gold-15) belonging to Meister der VP Bruno Kolbe. All medals lack the staatswappen in the shield. The Bronze and Silver documents are dated 1 May 1958 and 1963, respectively and are printed with Minister Maron's signature. The Gold doc is dated 2 December 1967 and has Minister Dickel's stamped signature.

A fairly small group belonging to Meister der V.P. Heinz Hagendorf. First, a Militarized Organs of Ministry of Interior Outstanding Service Medal with document dated 1 July 1969 and stamped with Minister Dickel's signature. Next, two certificates for "exemplary services in the fulfillment of the tasks of the MdI" dated 1970 and 1971 respectively. Sorry, but I cannot read either signature on those.

Greg - Thanks for posting the groupings. I am not able to tell from the photos, is the Maron signatures hand written or stamped?

I compared the Maron signatures, up close and personal, and they are exactly the same- indicating they are stamped. However, were there just one document, I would swear it was a hand signed signature... the stamping is that good.

Well, I've been fortunate enough to find more items to go with the Meister der VP Bruno Kolbe grouping in post #1. In addition to what was already there, I've found a 20 year service award (1972) and a bronze merit medal (1977). The third item is the most interesting (middle doc on the top row and badge just below it). The award is "Fur Vorbildliche Arbeit" (for model, or outstanding, work). While the badge is anything but rare- you can find these all over our favorite auction site- the document is quite rare. I've only seen this one and one other which was blank. Now, did he have a 25 year service medal? The search continues...

As you know, I've accumulated a fairly small list of names that I watch (this is best for the way I operate), and I keep checking with a fairly small, but proven, number of sources. Most of the time- nothing. But, once in awhile I hit the jackpot... so I keep at it. Keeps me off the streets.
