Medal for Distinguished Labor awarded to Mariya Tikhonovna Bolshakova by Ukaz of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of USSR on 16 July 1980.
Based on the date of the decree, this medal was awarded as part of a group of close to 7000 awards (from which 5159 for Valiant Labor) ranging from Hero of Socialist Labor, Order of Lenin, Order of October Revolution, Order of the Red Banner of Labor, Order of Friendship, Order of the Badge of Honor, Order of Labor Glory II and III classes, and medals for Valiant labor and Distinguished labor. All those awards were given in recognition for the dedicated and high quality labor of workers, managers, and officials in the success of the construction and reconstruction of the Olympic venues in the city of Moscow.
