GPW Soviet enlisted man's boots
Hi,
How much are a WWII Russian enlisted man's boots worth? They must be rare as I have not been able to find many examples. These have the rivet under the shoelace eyelets, and they do not have hobnails. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Eddie |

Hi Eddie, I am not actually convinced that is what they are? Let me get back to you on this.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: WWII Russian enlisted man's boots
Hi, I have asked a friend about them. He says that they are original but repaired. Value about $200.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: WWII Russian enlisted man's boots
Hi,
Thank you for your help. It is good to hear the boots are Russian. Someone told me that US and Russian boots were the only ones without hobnails during WWII. However, most Russian boots and lend-lease boots tend to have a rivet under the shoelaces. These boots look like they could tell some stories. How can you tell they have been repaired? Thanks, Eddie |
