Service in the Red Army: Since 01/1944. Wounds: None Prior Awards: Medal for Valor, 10/18/1944 (no. 1876494) Short factual description of the military feat or achievements: Comrade Skorodenok displayed outstanding courage and valor while commanding his rifle squad during an offensive. Comrade Skorodenok together with his squad was the first to attack the enemy during the fight in the area of Garozhi and Latvian Soviet Republic between 02/20 and 03/08/1945. Comrade Skorodenok together with his squad broken into enemy trenches and eliminated 10 fascists. In difficult combat situation comrade Skorodenok repeatedly encouraged his fighters to commit feats by setting up personal example. Comrade Skorodenok deserves to be awarded with an Order of Glory, 3rd cl. for his firmness and courage displayed in combat.
