Forum problem - "New Posts" button

OK, In the past, when I would be absent for a month, after I clicked "New Posts" button, a list of 3-4 pages would show, listing all the posts since my last visit. Now, after a week I get a list of 1-2 posts. I know there's less traffic on the forum now, but still that's a few. Especially that when I look through the forum and find posts from the time of my absence that were not listed. Has the button's functionning changed?

Re: Forum problem - "New Posts" button

I'm not certain as to just what the issue is - I think a mix of forum software and browsers. I have had experiences of both brand new posts not showing but also week old posts - that I've read many times still showing as new. I would advise clearing all the cookies for the forum to see if that helps. Often when my cookies are full I can't even browse the forum at all.

As for traffic, the statistics actually show the contrary - Traffic is higher than ever. Mainly due to the fact that there is more images and information than ever. I even took a screen grab of the rush of immediate attention when I showed that Romanian Medals can be researched. I was quite amazed by it due to the fact that not only is Romania "a bit off the beaten track" but is was also during the middle of a weekday. Lots of "sleeper" posts out there that many forum users deliberately ignore due to the "section" it is in but they are only missing out on the goodies!

A piece to a revolutionary leader - who is still being written about.

A group to a Partisan Machinegunner with an amazing write-up.

A pair with citations to a Partisan.

And those are just 3 that have turned up recently so are on my mind. So many "sleepers" on the forum outside of the "Researchers'" section but nevertheless researched.
