It could be a scanning effect, but I think this medal was minted in 2 different alloy compositions:

Dark brown (copper like 1 cent coin from the US)

Shiny finnish, more to the Pink color

Here is the document for 800 years of Moscow. Paper is very sturdy, but somehow feels "strange". Also, year of issue is written "195_" whereas I have so far only seen "194_"

Seems good to me in regards to stamp, ink fading, etc. Maybe the paper seems thicker since it was post-war and hence better made than the wartime ones.

This is a medal I recently acquired.

A very usual medal, 1 733 400 issued as of 1995, but this one shows small dots at the top of the helmet and distance above the "Yuri" name, as shown in the Mondvor site :

In your opinion, is this version more scarce than the "usual" one? Any idea?
