Fake Medal "In Memory Of The 250th Anniversary Of Leningrad" Document.

Hi,

what do you think about this document for the 250 years anniversary of
Leningrad. The paper looks light brown.
You can´t read the text at the bottom of the coat of arms. There are only points.

True, you should be able to read the lettering, but I don't think someone would fake a document for this medal, if that's what you're saying.

Thats the question? As the time shows you can find everything in the area of collecting soviet awards.
Maybe somebody who have a "genuie" document for 250 years anniversary of Leningrad can solve the question.

Well, at the moment on ebay there is this item (description by the seller):

"Document for Medal 250's of Leningrad. Fake - exact copy."

I wouldn't have thought that someone would fake that. I guess if there's money to be had...

Document for the Medal 250th Anniversary of Leningrad allegedly issued in 1985 and hand signed. This variation is not listed on mondvor site, and this is the first time I had ever seen one. Perhaps a forgery?
