2 diplomas issued by the local branch of MVD in Mari city (turkmen ssr) in 1957:

"by decree from the chief of the local MVD in Mari, is issued the present diploma to Kurlov Rakhman for active participation in protection of public order and for security of citizens in the city of Mari".

"For excellent results in combat and political training and for excellent service in MVD, is issued the honor diploma of MVD to the lieutenant of Milicia from the Mari city Achirova Anna"

Diploma issued in 1967, November to Mikhaïl Arkadievich Vichnevski:

"Great success in implementing training of specialists of the MOOP of the Turkmen ssr"

Note that this same man received a diploma from the uzbek mvd (see diploma I posted in Uzbek SSR)

I also find it interesting that the "letterhead" (if you will) that is used is radically different. In the first two MVD gramotas the illustrations at the bottom of the documents are of a shield not unlike the very early militia symbols/badges. Then, when they have a new МООП that same year, the symbol switches to the more ominous (and ubiquitous) symbol of state security - by way of the old "egg" of the ГПУ и НКВД. I guess that during times of confusion like that of the МООП period, they worked with what they knew.
