A small doc group to Maria Mikhailovna Demidova, major of the medical service.
First, we have her 1947 MVD POW camp ID, issued to her as a medical service captain:

Service by the MVD order 695 of 26th MAy 1955, currently retired, took military oath 5th November 1941

I also have her husband's University of Marxism-Leninism diploma which shows him in a gimnasterka with sewn-on pockets (not sure if it's visible on the photograph), suggesting that he also served with the NKVD/MVD

I haven't found any of them on podvignaroda.

And after half a year I get a confirmation that Demidova's husband worked for the MVD.
Here's his 1969 MOOP pensioneer ID I got from the same source. It states that he worked for 30 years and was a lt. colonel of the interior service.
