Re: Fake Voroshilov Marksman Badge

A very smooth reverse (not worn with age) is hoped for in these older badges. Very nice.:thumbsup

Re: Fake Voroshilov Marksman Badge

Glad Pavlo said 'yes' as I had a good vibe about it. The wear, patina and other things all looked good, although I should say I don't know what to look for when it come to fake VMBs (other than the cheap, new ones).
This looks like a nice early one with those numbers on the screwback. What's one of these go for these days if you don't mind me asking? (PM me if you don't want to declare it publicly). I'm just curious.

Eric, no problem :thumbsup for me there must be no secret between us, the forum also serves to make clear.
At this moment I am dealing with the seller, but am i being asked for the same price of Crussia, 190 $, you think that there can be margin of negotiation?

Re: Fake Voroshilov Marksman Badge

Marsino,

Definitely should be! Look at the SN on the screwplate and you'll get an idea of how many were issued. True, not all of them survived intact to our days, but still...

Re: Fake Voroshilov Marksman Badge

Yeah, that seems a bit much. Then again I don't actively follow those badges.

Re: Fake Voroshilov Marksman Badge

It happens to be our good friend Igor's asking price on his well-known site C......R.....
So, devide that in half and you've got a good starting point for haggling :D

Re: Fake Voroshilov Marksman Badge

I realize that the price is still high, but more so I was not able to to get off...
I decided to accept for 130 €-167$, including shipping costs.
