Title "Champion Of The People's Republic Of Albania".

Here is the Title "Champion Of The People's Republic Of Albania" (Kampion I R.P.SH.). An exceptionally rare Title of the People's Republic. Proposed by Decree #4259 of 11th April 1967 and confirmed by Decree #4292 of 19th April 1967. A short lived title (maximum of 9 years) that seems to have almost vanished from history.

These are not a small Badge as the design may lead one to believe and even dwarf Hero Stars from other nations. A shot against a Medal for comparison.

Don't think this is exceptionally rare. Have seen plenty hit the market over the years.

Including all the paperwork? Alike most Albanian awards the "unused" stock is a different matter to an awarded piece.

I am unable to find any decrees awarding any of them in the possible 9 years of its existent, nor anyone claiming to have been awarded with it. The unissued stock may be out there but an awarded example is something else.

Now if anyone has any pictures of them in wear that'd be appreciated. Not a bad piece for £3.

Here is as close as I've found to one being worn so far......

The "17th November" Football Team.
