Amroued Unit M1955 Uniform
As promised here is the picture of the officer in a M1955 uniform. He is with a guards amroued unit. He has a Red Star, OPW and Guards' badge.

Sorry but that is actually a M1949 parade uniform for armoured officers. The M1955 is actually grey with balck velvet collars, this one is olive coloured with black velvet collars.
This uniform is also very rare as it was only in circulation for 6 years.

He is Guards Major A.A. Badchenko of the 4th Guards Mechanized Division. And Cairan is right about it being a M1949 armour parade uniform.

This is how an M55 looks like.

Sorry to nitpick but the medal on the M1955 uniform for 20 years Anniversary of the Great Patriotic War is wrong - forobvious reasons! :)
