XXII Olympic Games Moscow 1980.

July 19, 2010 is 30th Anniversary of opening of Olympic Games 1980 in Moscow, USSR. These games were the first Olympic Games in a history organized by the Communist country.
Here is very interesting addition to my small sport collection.
Honored Badge with the document “For Active Work in Preparation and Carrying Out of XXII Olympic Games."

The first document is just the generic Soviet Olympic Committee Membership ID, not necessarily related to the Moscow Olympics.

I agree.
I stated that it is related to Olympic Games - 80 because - the seller said it :D,
But it is a GENERIC Membership ID
To correct my mistake :D here is one more interesting Olympic Games - 80 Badge:
"To the Participant of Security at the XXII Olympic Games - 1980"

Now that's really different.:thumbsup I still think the Soviets had the all-time coolest Olympics symbol if one knows anything about the Moscow skyline - and the location of the Grand Stadium with Moscow University in the background.

I still think it was one of the most inane moves the West ever made in that boycott - and I'm not being biased. It aggravated me to no end when I was a kid and it happened (I had a crush on Nadia Comaneci - who didn't - and I couldn't watch her again after 1976;)).

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but I can't seem to find anything similar enough and I don't want to start a whole new thread for one badge.

So here is a 1986 Moscow Goodwill Games press badge from the Leningrad Mint. My photography is suffering again today:o so there are two pictures to try to capture the colors (light (sky) and darker blue for the oceans and a "forest" green around "Пресса") of this large (5cmx3.5cm) and heavy brass badge.
