Sorry, I know this a labor-related medal, and it involves some initials but would someone please help me with the name?

And what era would this be from please and thank you!

I'm no expert, and I have never seen that particular medal before. However the front refers to ВДНХ, a kind of expose of the different ethnic groups domestic products and achievements. The Back says for sucess in the people's agricultural economy, roughly.
My best guess, and only a guess, is that it is like a 4H award.Where did you get it?

Just received this document. Originally it seemed the same as others I have. On receiving it I have found that the date is embossed on the front. This is different from the other documents of this type that I have.

Has anyone one else seen these VDNKh documents with embossed dates?

This is a bronze VDNKh prize medal.

Does that mean you think the doc is suspect or just unusual?

It seems exactly the same as the others I have apart from the embossed date.

Simon,

Difficult to tell. On the one hand, if you have the proper equipment (at a grand cost of a few $), you can emboss whatever you wants; on the other hand, it is quite neatly embossed, so who knows :confused:

Another example of an embossed 1967 document which was recently on EB*y.

A VDNK medal; gilt with purple ribbon. Again, I have no idea what the award criteria was.

Here's my latest aquisitions:
The one on the green ribbon, is that a BDHX medal? I think it's a T4V1s1, according to the list on page 12 of this thread.
The other two I'm happy to get because; A) both are screwbacks and B) getting the silver medal as well. They'll add to my little labor display.

All three came as a group, and included a booklet which I'll post in the documents thread. I think said booklet is unrelated to these medals.

More questions to come.

The first one (green ribbon) is a VSKhV participant's medal; by the way, it is not its original screwplate.
