Short, concrete description of personal combat feat or merits:

The 41st Red Banner Motorized Engineering Brigade of the Reserve of the High Command under the command of comrade Colonel Klementyev successfully carried out all missions assigned to it, disregarding all difficulties it encountered along the way.

Colonel Klementyev is always with his units, personally overseeing their activities and often taking initiatives in the process. During the operation to liquidate the concentration of enemy troops in Gdynia under very complicated circumstances, Colonel Klementyev’s sappers not only successfully carried out the missions assigned to them, but at the same time, thanks to the concrete and firm leadership from the side of Colonel Klementyev, inflicted losses upon the enemy.

Colonel Klementyev skilfully and quickly maneuvred his units; he managed to direct his units in a minimal amount of time and deployed them in the relevant sectors. Colonel Klementyev is able to grasp combat situations and actively helped the army’s troops in overcoming enemy obstacles and assaulting his fortifications.

For the excellent leadership of his units and successfully carrying out all missions assigned to him he deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Banner.
