It looks correct, but it is not an exceptionnal photography to assess that....

Agreed, it looks good but larger higher definition photos/scans would support a better assessment. The serial number (296890) would indicate a late 1970's awarding.

Order Book (#006133) dated June 14th, 1946 for the Title & Order Mother Heroine (#6435) issued to Matrena Danilovna Zaitseva.

A dealer will swear blind that it is original but the light marks are rather indicative of the autopen.

Thousands in a day are not conducive to hand signatures.
