El Partido Unido de la Revolución Socialista de Cuba (PURSC) fue el partido político único cubano creado el 26 de marzo de 1962, aunque sus primeros indicios fueron entregados por Fidel Castro mediante un discurso televisado el 1 de diciembre de 1961. Nace como resultado de la fusión del Movimiento 26 de Julio, el Partido Socialista Popular (PSP), y el Directorio Revolucionario 13 de marzo. Reemplazó a las Organizaciones Revolucionarias Integradas (ORI) como eje político de la revolución cubana. |
