After going through absolutely every published decree for 1946 (and there are hundreds) I have only been able to locate one for 24th May 1946. This is for awarding members of the Ministry Of State Security. This is in line with Słojowski being in the WDW but his name is not in the list for the Medal or any other award. It could be a case of him being left off of the published list due to a clerical error or some other reason.

The Decree awards members of the KBW of the Ministry Of State Security "For outstanding merits and exemplary service".
