Dave's Red Star on eBay?
First, congrats for getting over $1,100 for your star on eBay. Goes to show you that no price is too high to pay.
Secondly, was there something about that star other than the number being low that should have sent the price so high? One of our moderators has one listed for less than $400 that has a number only 3,000 higher. Makes me consider buying it and auctioning it on eBay and see if I can double my money.

Thanks.
I didn't know that the value of these was so high. I was really quite shocked, but any more nothing surprises me in Soviet award collecting. Dave |

Guys,
For the rest of us who don't necessarily sift through eBay that regularly, could you please post pictures of the front and back of the beast, just to understand what the whole affair is about. Marc |

Actually, this star came off the naval uniform featured in the Webster and Nelson uniform book. At the time I bought the uniform, I didn't even know that the star was anything special... until I took it off the uniform! Dave |
