Fake Order "For Personal Courage".

I think it's a fake but would like to get a confirmation from the experts

Given the shape of the leaves, the attachment ring and a few other things, I'd say that it is a Balt-made fake.

I concur, copies like this often come from one of the Baltic States.

There is an Order of Personal Courage on e_ _ _ that appears to be fake. Some of the same reasons as that above. The leaves lack detail, the white enamel is rough at the oval. The ring is not plated on the reverse.

The current price is only 120 USD plus S&H from Israel.

What do you think?

The engraving looks very nervous.

I just returned from Estonia. Almost all of the major antique stores in Tallinn and one in Narva has the Medal for Courage for sale. They were all fakes. Some were even with documents. A dealer from whom I bought medals since 1993 said that they were all fakes. Some were selling for as much as $1,200 and were very good copies. I wouldn't buy any of these medals.

I am not surprised. Just have a look at eBay, those fakes are everywhere!
