What is this machine?
OK, I am not sure where to post it and am not even certain if the machine is strictly military, but since it's leaving some military base...
What is this strange machine? Makes me think of vacuum cleaner, so it could be something to clean the snow off the roads, but maybe someone here can recognise this machine? |

Leave it to the Soviets (some of the most resourceful people I have ever met) to find a practical purpose for scrap jet engines - and it looks like they've been doing it for a long time judging from the first photo.

it's a machine to clean the runway in airports, engines from old aircraft used to make them. In a twisted way you are right big hoover, only it's blowing not sucking
