Found this today…..

I think it’s an ID to a Jury Secretary on a NKVD Military Court held in Moscow in 1942.

Here is the front pages explaining he is a on a NKVD Military Court in Moscow.

Jury Secretary order no 110

No Medals or Awards

Born 3 January 1903...not married

Weapon Permit for Nagin 7103...he handed it in on 15.1.43

Id rules

His Moscow Address

If he was awarded no medals...does this make this a complete group.

The cover...it may not show up to well but NKVD is printed in full.

Hi,

this is the NKVD ID what i have in my collection. I dont collect them specially, so i'm not big expert of them also. I think it's original, because it came with other document's for the same person.
This ID has blue covers and it's dated 1939. To someone knows, why it has blue covers and is it something special?

I can't tell for sure from this scan, but at least I don't see any obvious problems.

I don't know the significance of the blue cover.

Let's just be obvious here, blue crown on caps = blue cover on IDs ;)

HI All,
Hoping some of you guys can help me. Many years ago I obtained this NKVD identity card with translation sheet. I was initially told it was for SMERSH subunit, but see no reference to SMERSH anywhere on this booklet.

Any information is greatly appreciated. Could anyone give me an idea of a valut for it. I've been away from collecting soviet stuff for ten years or more.

That's correct - this is a Special departments of NKVD id, not SMerSh.

"OO" stands for "osobii otdel", or "special section." This was was the same as SMERSh or Soviet military counterintelligence.
