Bravery Medal.
The Bravery Medal (Արիության Մեդալ) is the highest Medal of the Republic Of Armenia. Founded on 26th July 1993 and revised on 9th August 2014. It has only been awarded 230 times in the last 8 years. Awarded for bravery in state service.
This is #1277, made by the Saint Petersburg Mint. It has the wrong ribbon (Combat Service Medal) and is almost identical to the NKR http://soviet-awards.com/forum/sovie...ice-medal.html The only difference being the position of the space for the serial number.

Here is another Saint Petersburg produced example - this time on the correct ribbon. Although the serial number hasn't photographed very well it is #8360.
