Actually wasn't a joke earlier - it would be great to read a translation of the old butcher's citations. The bureaucracy being what it was one would think that they’d have been written. After all, no one was a Tsar, no one could officially just grant themselves things. The right forms must be filled out, signed and stamped.

Order of Combat Red banner has an interesting history. Some researches say that Stalin's first ORB had been changed to number 3 (duplicate) :) .

Unlike a highly regarded XX RKKA, 30th anniv. was given to everyone in uniform. We can speculate that since the latter was so insignificant, Stalin didn't care whether he got it or not.

Stalin was awarded rare republican orders: Tuva Order of Republic and Buhara Order of Red Star 1st Class. Scans of both orders are attached for your viewing pleasure.
