Stojanov's Medal "For Military Merit" may have been for 5 or 10 years long service. Stojanov may have been a reservist for the entirety of his career.

Stojanov received his Order "People's Liberty 1941-1944" 15 years later as did many "anti-fascists".

Decree №63 strikes again.

If things work the same way they did in the Societ Union, each year, Decree numbers started again back from 1. So, it is logical to find Decree 63 in different years, but, obviously, it each one of them will be specific.

Nearly all of these Medals were awarded under Decree 63 although I have come across one or two that were not (Decree 62 for example). Decree 63 must have been an almost universal awarding of these. It would be nice to find a reference site for all these Bulgarian decrees then we could get more information. Decree 192 of 1957 and 619-625 of 1959 put out a great number of awards.
