NKVD Captured Kornilov Shoulder Boards.
I have gotten in some really neat items from Ukraine in the past, but this one takes the cake.
Its a set of Kornilov boards and tabs from 1919-1921 captured in the Ukraine during the Russian Civil War. Odd enough, but still with the original capture wrapping and NKVD inventory tags. Tags say " Rostov Oblast Archive NKVD". There are a dozen sets in total. Some molding, but you have to imagine where these have been for the past 70+ years. DD |
