Badge "Participant Navigation In Convoys 1941-1945".

Has anyone come across this badge before ? It is a very nicely made badge in silver with a plain reverse and no maker mark. It is obviously for service in the supply convoys but I have not been able to find any reference to it. I recently purchased it with a lot of other badges but this is clearly a nice piece.

No, haven't seen it before - really nice. Are you sure it's silver - is there a Moscow or Leningrad mint mark on the back?

It is definitely silver, the weight, toning etc are all consistent with silver. There is no maker mark (unfortunately).
