1. Document for the 38th Army. I got the badge a couple of weeks ago so I was happy to get this.

1 and 2 are the 383rd Mining Division: formed in 1941 from the miners of Donbass. led defensive battle for the Donbass, and held the front in the Mius. Division also participated in the battles of Stalingrad to Berlin and was awarded the Order of Suvorov 2 degrees and the Red Banner.

2. Roslavl Bomber Aviation Regiment. This one is a little unusual in that it's solid metal and the unit flew American B-25 Mitchells. Here's a little history: The regiment was formed on Aug. 2, 1930. May 2, 1942 the regiment arrived at the Monino airfield near Moscow and first began development of the aircraft B-25 Mitchell. " In August, 1942 - April 1943 GG regiment took part in the operations of the Western, Kalinin, Stalingrad, Bryansk Fronts. In April-May 1943 B-25 hit on the major administrative centers and rail sites in Germany and Poland. Successful was the raid on Königsberg on the night of April 13. With the most intense fighting had to work during the Battle of Kursk and the Iasi-Kishinev operation. (I copied this from the sellers discription, that's why it's a little stilted.)
