Border Guard Unofficial Commemorative/Veteran Badges
I've been able to amass a few of these pins/badges and thought I'd share them. With a couple of exceptions, they were made during the USSR period. First, a general Border Guard commemorative badge, probably made for general consumption and sold a various kiosks...

I believe this badge was produced in 1978 and commemorates 50 years of the Tadjikstan Border Guard. Note the Order of Lenin.

A badge commemorating the Red Banner Trans Baikal Border Guard. Note the hangar is in the form of the Medal for Distinguished Service in Defense of State Frontier.

I'm not entirely sure of the location here, but suspect it is in the Middle Asian area. Fifty years; heavy construction with a broken pin.

Took me forever to find one of these... tracked this one down in Germany. 60 years of the Red Banner Kalinsky Border Guard. Note the similarity to the Excellent Border Guard badge from the '70's.

A couple of Border Guard (Coast Guard) ship badges... the "Amur" and the "26th Congress of the CPSU". Am unsure of the date on these; could be post-Soviet.
