I know, the photo is crap, but what do you think about this engineers badge? Is there anything to take care about? Are there fakes or modern "commemorative" versions of it?

Not much more can be said other than it fits the general appearance of such a badge. Whether or not it is legitimate depends on better photos.

That matches what I see in Boyev's book. It's a latter issue I think, later than mine and there are long and short versions of it. Yours is the short one. I'm assuming it's aluminium and pinback. I'd got $10 on that.

Ok, many thanks. I can get it for 6 Euros and I think I will give it a try.

Ok, I got it and looks original with clear makers mark of the Pobeda factory. Its aluminium with pinback and the red star is painted.
