Unknown PDRE badge

I believe this is a Derg membership badge. Lack of ge'ez script support on this machine hinders research.

I have also seen a similar badge with a different (shorter) legend, but I haven't been able to get a clear scan.

For this one, based on the legend, the name would be Badge "Service as a Revolutionary Group Leader".
