There are 29 different GDR Klassifizierungsabzeichen in total, all have three classes I, II and III with the exception of the early Tank qualification badge which until 1963 also had an M, master class.
If more than one qualification badge was awarded only one could actually be worn at a time.
Awarding started on 6th January 1958 with the tank qualification badges.

(Rear service quallification badge)

Awarded from 1st December 1985 - 2nd October 1990

The task of the rear services primarily was the care of the armed forces with all material resources which were necessary for the life of military personnel and for possible combat operations was in the national people's army of the German Democratic Republic.

Among the troops of the rear services:

Motor vehicle transport troops (units for the transport of material resources of all kinds)
Pipe laying troops
Troops of the military transportation (railway engineer, road maintenance and road construction troops, road bridge and railway bridge construction troops)
Medical units (paramedics)

Facilities of the rear services included, workshops, repair companies, hospitals, rest billits and much more.

The catering service, the clothing and equipment service, the fuel and lubricant service, the transport and maintenance company belonged to the rear services within the troops (Regiment, battalion, etc.). The task of these units was the Organization of life in the army and the capability of "combat units".

The tasks of the rear services existed for the eventual war in:

Carrying of material supplies for the troops
the supply of troops, ships, aircraft flights with ammunition, fuel and lubricants during the fighting
the rescue and the evacuation of wounded from the battlefield and their medical supply
the maintenance and repair, as well as the replacment of damaged vehicles etc.

Classification Clasp For Flight Engineer Technical Personnel Of The Air Force 2nd Level (Klassifizierungsspange Für Flugingenieurtechnisches Personal Der Luftstreitkräfte II Stufe). These were awarded between 4th January 1968 and 30th November 1985.

Here is the Uniform Classification Clasp 3rd Level (Einheitliche Klassifizierungsspange III Stufe). Awarded from 1st June 1962 to 2nd October 1990.

Here is the Classification Clasp For Armour 2nd Level (Klassifizierungsspange Für Panzer II Stufe) Type 3. The Clasp was awarded from 6th January 1958 to 2nd October 1990 with this Type phased in from 1963.
