Badge "Meritorious Employee Of The MVD".
Finally snagged one of these... it is one of the highest awards given to members of the MVD, is shown in both editions of the State awards book and may be considered the PMR equivalent of the Soviet "egg" badges.

I'd like to know what and where that factory is because I've seen similar quality and the same logo on the screw nut on several modern badges of the RF as well. Phillip

It is in Moldova, country code 3732. It is most likely possible to use a local reverse directory to find out the business name, but I can't read all of the digits on the screwplate. Marc |

Here's as good an image as I'm able to make of the screw plate. The series of numbers is: +3732-78-42-74. Hope this helps.
