Yes very little info on the VOPO acadamies to be found right now. I'll research around to see what I can find as time allows.

One is a bone white/ivory color, the other a light grey.

They measure 44mm by 29mm. The screwplate is tiny: 9mm

Quality is typical ie low. Light metal and probably painted "enamel" with a clearcoat over the whole obverse.

Your badges are East German Police Academy badges. I believe there is a third one with a dark green center as well. Unsure of order of precedence however.

Graduation badge OHS "Karl Liebknecht", Stralsund (Navy)

This graduation badge was designed by Fregattenkapitän Hans Beyer and a few examples were made but the OHS never got the authorisation to issue them.

Does anyone have a example to show of the OHS "Rosa Luxemburg", Suhl Border Guards badge?

Very specific request. Sorry, I don't collect GDR, but I am still looking for a good Stasi badge.:)

If you mean a graduation badge specificly for the OHS "Rosa Luxemburg", I'm not aware that there is one.

Yes, that is what I was hoping for. So aside from the 3 police academy and 2 stazi badges, would there be any graduation badges for the Border Guards?

Nope Tom, just the ones in the previous posts.
If you take a look through from the start of this thread, it includes just about all GDR graduation badges that were issued.
