Comrade Megrelidze, B. L. participated in the Patriotic War from July 1941 to 1944 Commander of the 267th Separate Company Of Chemical Defence, 128th Rifle Division, in battle in defence of the USSR during the offensive for the town of Tartu, Estonia Comrade Megrelidze received two light and one heavy wound in the right shoulder, fracturing the humerus from shrapnel of a shell and in the region of the lower jaw with teeth damage.
