Neutrality Order.
Order of Neutrality of Independent Turkmenistan – Bitaraplyg Ordeni.
Made of gold, the medallion measures 40 mm and weighs 42.85 gm. There is a maker mark ‘RIGA’ and ‘InSE’ on the connecting ring. The order is awarded suspended on a gold chain. The Obverse depicts a bust of President Saparmurat Niyazov (1990-2006) facing left within a wreath, legend around "Turkmenistanyn Prezidenti - Saparmyrat Turkmenbasy". The Reverse shows the five-headed eagle from the Presidential Flag, legend around "Garassyz Turkmenistanyn - Bitaraplygynyn sanyna". This order is awarded for great contributions to the neutrality of Turkmenistan and achievements in science, economics and other fields. So far, it is extremely rare and has only been awarded a few times. |

Re: Neutrality Order.
Beautiful piece, Marc. Not bragging, but I met that president - and though I did not leave with any awards, I did get to go through his private store house and pick out a ceremonial "robe" which I still have.
