Award Folder

Hi.
Can you tell me if it can be folder for the flag document and what is the weight of it?

Archi,

I have only had in one unit flag (if that is what you mean) that had its award papers with it (for a naval unit, 1948) and I do not remember the folder looking like this.

That is simply a standard type of diploma holder.

By standard you mean that it is not from unit flag?

I have had in many Soviet unit flags, and only once did I have the original award document with it; the documents are actually far rarer than the unit flags themselves. A unit flag with the original award document would be quite an item!

I'll go see if i can dig out a photo of the naval unit flag with document I had in...it was back in 2000 or so...have to look through a lot of photos. I'll find it though.
