Merchant Fleet Badges.
Acording to one source, this was "Parade participant's lapel pin, circa 1930s German silver, enamel".

Tal, I think these badges are in fact a part of a cap badge. On page 19 in the ”Krokardi” book there are cap badges for ”Pechoy Flot” (River transport fleet???). When you look at the photo they look a lot like each other.

Here are some “relatives” of the red flag. These are also naval transport and comes from cap badges.

Very nice!
That would explain the screw nuts that are NOT Modvor, and of different manufacturers. What I would like to see is a picture of someone WEARING those badges. Tal

Here's another version -- short pole pinback.

The one on the left is the above "short pole pinback". The larger one on the right is similar to the original posting except that its screwplate is tiny, resembling Kim's. Many variations on a theme seem more likely than fakes.

Gentlemen,
I've heard from a collector, that these were given to members of the Soviet icebreakers crews - Cheliuskin and later. The ones with the blue enamel are from North Mechant Shipping Company. Alexei |

Parade Badge Variant?
Got this badge a couple of years ago in a lot with several aluminum Ukrainian deputy badges; it was this particular badge that drew me to the rest. The flag staff is nearly an inch long; the overall horizontal measure is around 1 and 3/8 inches. Bronze with hot enamel. The mint mark (partially obscured by the pin assembly) looks to be the Cyrillic character "shah" with a semi circle above. I would estimate it's age at 40's to 50's. My question: is this a Soviet Parade Badge pin-back variant? Thanks!
