Unknown Sleeve for an Ordenskaja Khnizka
Hello everybody,
this one has been sold on E*** a few days ago for more than 350,- €. I think all parts are genuine and the order has a nice, low serial number, but does this (unknown) sleeve for the book justify such an amount of money !? Were these sleeves given by the government or just bought by the recipient somewhere else after receiving the order ? (In fact it was the first time I have seen such a piece). I would be thankful for any information concerning this set and especially it`s value/ price. Jens |

This document sleeve was not official issue, most likely a private purchase item available in the military items stores of the day like the US' PX system.
Price is like anything - whatever you're willing to pay for it. |

I think folks may have gone a little bit nuts thinking they were getting a rare variation or something but the cover is very much something you could mix and match... I'd like one but I'm not going to break the bank doing so.

Nice cover! Like the others say, it's probably private purchase. But it looks high-end; maybe someone with some cash or an important position got it. Would be interesting to find out who it was.

More than likely not as the BoH wasn't a strictly military award.
A seasoned researcher could tell you more; the whys and wherefors and whatnot.
