Unknown makers marks on badges
Anyone knows the makers of these three badges? One Military Sports Badge, one Specialist Badge 3. class and one Air Force Excellence Badge. All are the late aluminium types.
Thanks in advance. |

Re: Unknown makers marks on badges
I've seen the "upside down peace symbol) in the first photo on many aluminum MVD badges, but I never figured out who the maker is. The other two are a complete mystery to me. Sorry.

Re: Unknown makers marks on badges
Has anyone looked in Soviet Veteran Badges? I'm pretty sure at least two of these are in there, but I don't have a copy handy.

Re: Unknown makers marks on badges
In his book, "Cheka...", Cdr. Pandis cites the "peace symbol" mark (first image) as being the Moscow Factory of Military and Sports Badges. I can't really make out the mark of the second image. The third image mark, while I have no concrete reference to it, appears to be a long boat- a symbol normally associated with Leningrad. My guess would be it's from a factory there (maybe an outsourced badge from the LMD).

Re: Unknown makers marks on badges
Thanks. I know this list, but only the "peace sign" is listed with a "?" unfortunately.

I think it is no. 24 (last one on the second page). The mark on the second badge I posted looks a little bit like a bee or a flying bird or something like that.
Does someone can translate which maker this one is? Last edited by CtahhR; 05-26-2014 at 09:57 AM. |
