Album on Heroes of Mongolia

Below are the photos of the set of posters on some 20 Heroes of the Mongolian People's Republic and and the Heroes of the Soviet Union who distinguished themselves at Khalkhin Gol Battle in 1939. The posters carry the portrait pictures of the heroes, the illustrations of the heroic acts and brief descriptions of their feats. The texts are in Mongolian. The set comprises of 24 posters. Each poster measures 52 cm in width and 33 in height.

BTW, the title of the set would be "Glory Pages of the Combat Friendship" in English.

Ed, Yours must be the one on the heroes of the 1945 war against Japan. How many of the posters do you have?

I'd have to check, I think it was done just after the war. It includes all of them, back to the Sukhbaatar-Choibalsan generation. Obviously it dates from after the redesign of the hero star.

While there seems to be no publication data per se, the album includes 40 heroes, from Sukhbaatar to Dorj, so it much be from ca. 1974/75.
