I got interesting document, I have never seen anything like this before.

It says, book of honour.
And one more with nice writing.

Nice document. However, I can not make out the text near the bottom where it says something pocheta. The guy is being named something "honourable" - is it a znak pocheta (honour badge) award doc but with no place for the badge number?? Is it possible knigu pocheta or book of honour?? Honour salute??

What is interesting is that the writing is very nice and matches that found on most genuine KGB badge award documents, KGB gramotas and "attaboys" and KGB diplomas I have seen.

Very interesting. The second item is an official ID. They are different and higher quality, like this one, for senior command personnel. He is a Commissar of the People's Militia 3rd rank, aka Major-General of Militia from the 1960s. The Militia were the last to use the Commissar of ... rank.

I would love to see the covers too!

I would also love to know more about the book of honour. I have heard of it before and assume it was kept at MVD HQ. Lower units in the army had them too but this is obviously an HQ one. Appears to be somewhat like the old UK "mentioned in dispatches" honour.

Shawn
