I may be wrong, but this board looks like converted from 4-sided to me...
If it's red, it's not motor rifle. Red waas adopted by them in 1969

Looks similar to the one that RichieC posted in post nr14, but the stripes are silver, not gold and a bit more narrow.
It looks unissued.
Unfortunately, I have only one.

And from what branch and period could these boards be?

I believe that these boards date from the period of the war. They could be for artillery, tanks or medicine.

But there is no trace of branch insignia on the boards. Could that mean these boards are unissued?
