Hello,

this group came in a few days ago.

What do you think about the red award box. Is it a soviet box and belongs to the mother heroine? or not?

In my opinion the red award box is east German and belongs not to the mother heroine. Any opinions?

best regards and thanks
Andreas

Re: Fake Mother-Heroine.

It certainly isn't Soviet nor original..... I am sure there is an award out there missing its case.

Hi Andreas,

no the boxes for the Mother Heroine title are blue in color.
I have seen at least two version of this: one in blue canvas padded in blue velvet and one (newer) but padded with cheaper flattened matherial.
Color shades seems to vary in relation to the period of manufacturing.

Hystorically the Gramotas had their boxes too as also the orders and medals.

Since it seems a nice display it would be nice to show all the items separately. ;)

Best
Airon
