Ties
What color ties were used on soviet uniforms depending on branch of service and occasion?

Parade = black
Service = green There was a difference in material between officers and generals/admirals. Branch of service was without meaning. Marc |

ties
Eric,
maybe....diplomatic services often wore a 'civilian' tie, even with parade uniforms! I have seen stripes for one. DD |

Though I have seen some cases in which air force officers wore dark blue ties in their service uniforms...not sure why. Also seems to be more common with Army Generals. |
