Kramarenko, Jakov Iosefovich, Sergeant, Mortar Commander, 94th Rifle Regiment
Here is a complete group to Sergeant Jakob Iosefovich Kramarenko (Яков Иосифович Крамаренко). Some of you may have seen this auctioned on the forum marketplace (and bid on it). I was fortunate enough to be gifted it for Christmas 2012.
I have presented the awards in Ukrainian order of precedence and not Russian as he was a Ukrainian (The Medal Zhukov would be where the "Defender Of The Fatherland" is, which would then be placed last if in Russian order). His Personal Card reads Document 3-948839 (missing!) 1. Family Kramarenko 2. Name and Patronymic Jakob Iosifovich 3. Military Rank Sergeant 4. Sex Male 5. Year Of Birth 1920 6. Place Of Birth Village of Eremovka, Rovensk Region, Belgorod Oblast. 7. Party Membership Member Of CPSU since 1944 8. Education Average 9. Nationality Ukrainian 10. In Soviet Army Since 1940 11. Place Of Service 94th Rifle Regiment, 21st Rifle Division, Commander Of Mortar Calculation. 12. Place Of Current Service Pensioner 13 Current Address Voroshilovgrad Oblast, Popasna, Kiev 184. "For Bravery" U/N 3-948839 Ukaz Presidium Sumpreme Soviet USSR of 26th February 1981. "First Of May" Town Military Commissariat Major ? 11th February 1982 (Pre OPW II).

Re: Sergeant Jakob Iosefovich Kramarenko, Wounded Mortar Commander.
His 26th February 1946 Medal "For Victory Over Germany In The Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" Д№0493240 document is a little worn and washed but I can make out Voroshilovgrad Regional Military Commissariat awarded by a Major.

The combatant version of Jubilee Medal "Thirty Years Of Victory In The Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" awarded by the same Colonel on 27th May 1976.
The Badge "Veteran Of The Karelian Front 1941-1945". This is the First Badge featured in the book "Soviet Second World War Veteran Badges" by Paul J. Schmitt. Get your copy (if you haven't already) on the forum marketplace.
