Fédération Aéronautique Internationale Yuri A. Gagarin Gold Medal.
Although not Soviet, I think it is interesting. The medal awarded by the Federation Aeronautique International.
This medal was established in 1968 in honour of Astronaut Yu. A. Gagarin, who performed the first space flight by man on the 12th of April, 1961. He lost his life on 27th March 1968, in a tragic aircraft accident while carrying out a training flight. The medal may be awarded annually to the astronaut who, in the previous year, has made the greatest achievement in Man's conquest of Space. Exceptionally, 2 medals may be awarded.
