Table Medal "In Memory Of The 50th Anniversary Of Soviet Rule In The U.S.S.R.".

Hola , it´s my new table medal : 50th Anniversary of the October Revolution 1967, in sterling silver with 49.9 mm in diameter, weighs 73.9 g and stamped mint mark "LMD" (Leningrad Mint) and silver hallmark "925".
How many of this table medal were issued ?

Best regards.

Re: Soviet Desk/Table medals - is there a place for them?

Thats a nice medal. There were two variations a smaller one with 50 mm and a bigger one with 75 mm diametre.

But most likely the smaller one is the medal with the higher charge.

According two my book the total quantity is unknown !

Just a shot in the dark. Maybe the smaler one around 5.000 pieces and the bigger one around 300 pieces. But just a guess.

best regards
Andreas

Very nice Ruiz. 1967 was a big year for Soviet mints and good quality items like this one.:thumbsup You don't often see these made from silver - excellent.
