Here's a nice 'modified' ;) Railway Worker's hat. My brother brought it back from Moscow in 1991 as a gift for me, that's why I never parted with it... It simply sits in the back of the closet with the rest of my hat collection (lots of hats given to me by veterans when I was there.) Anyway- it is one of the nicer quality hats manufactured during the post-Soviet period (this one was probably 'hot off the press' when my brother bought it in 91) I should really change the hat device, but hey, this one adds character... ;)

One additional thing that is interesting to note though is that the pic you found of the railway hat shows the hat that I remember the workers wearing while I was there- not so large a crown, just an overall smaller hat. I'll dig through my pictures to see if I can find any more pics of folks wearing it.

There is also a tan version of this hat for summer uniform It is much rarer and seems only to have been for "cabin" crew.
