Nice stamps.

I remember two years ago, in the small shop in the garden close to the Kremlin gates, they were selling plaquettes of stamps with Soviet orders and medals... I asked for one. The seller told me it is not possible because only oen remained, the one of the display. I asked for it... He never wanted to sell it to me because of the hole it would create in his display...

BTW, I found the stamps in one of the stamps albums people sell in streets (in St Petersburg).

You can try your local stamp show. Even at St. Louis, Missouri stamp event I found some philatelic items featuring Soviet orders. Also, you can buy anything on EBay.

The attached image of a stamp depicting Marshal Choibalsan wearing Lenin and Red Banners is too cool. Later, he was also awarded Suvorov and 20 Years RKKA medal.
